Begin privately

Start with your watch

A short description is enough to begin. You can send photographs through the agreed follow-up channel after we review your enquiry.

A model name is useful. If you are unsure, enter “Not sure”. Leave out full serial and case numbers.

Choose Not sure if you cannot assess it. Add known damage, refinishing or replaced parts in the optional notes.

Additional details (optional)

Selling more than one watch? List the pieces in the optional notes and say whether you prefer one proposal or separate sales.

This first form sends text only. Please keep identity documents, bank details and full serial numbers out of this message. We arrange photographs privately after the initial review.

We will review whether the watch fits and explain the next step. An initial estimate is not a purchase offer.

The initial estimate is free. We focus on collector watches worth around $25,000 and above and reply personally within one business day.

Identify the reference and execution

Write the model as it appears in the records. UR-100V, UR-210 and UR-220 are different models; an EMC is a separate technical proposition again. Record the named edition, material and surface treatment rather than inferring them from the family name.

If the reference is uncertain, describe the available papers. A photograph of a similar watch does not confirm your edition or original configuration.

Four details for an URWERK enquiry

  1. Identity: complete UR reference, edition, case material and documentation of original configuration.
  2. Exterior condition: case, crystal and surface wear, plus known refinishing or replacement parts.
  3. Operation and service: invoices and issues already noticed with the display, winding or power reserve.
  4. Supplied set: original strap or bracelet, buckle, relevant links, box, papers and accessories.

Photograph the display, case sides, case back and strap or bracelet connection. Show exterior controls without adjusting unfamiliar settings. The UR-210's winding-efficiency indicator and case-back selector, for example, are features to identify, not instructions for a mechanical test.

Why the service file matters

URWERK families use different mechanisms and operating controls. Describe an issue in plain language and include the service record. A claim of recent servicing needs a date and evidence. Do not open the watch to photograph the movement.

The initial review identifies information still needed. If inspection is required, the proposed process should state who performs it and how differences from the original description are handled.

Choose from a written proposal

A direct offer gives a proposed purchase price under stated conditions. Private placement creates a seller-side instruction with an agreed fee. Availability depends on the exact watch and current interest.

Use our sale-route comparison and seller-net calculator to understand the amount payable to you. Keep auction estimates, public asking prices and written purchase offers separate.

Can I sell an URWERK with coating wear?

Submit clear photographs and disclose the wear. Establish the material and treatment for the exact execution. Review appropriate service options before refinishing a coating for sale photographs.

What if I do not know the edition name?

Share the model reference and available purchase or service records. We identify details needing confirmation. Leave an uncertain field unknown instead of selecting the nearest-looking edition.

Can I enquire before deciding to sell?

Yes. Start with a free sale estimate and your timing. For a formal valuation serving another purpose, see the separate watch valuation service; its scope and fee differ.
