Who the buying mandate represents

On an agreed buyer-side acquisition mandate, Passion Asset Advisory searches and negotiates for the buyer. The buyer pays our fee. Every offer states that role and identifies the counterparty before transfer. You may obtain independent advice; we do not also become your seller-side adviser in the same transaction.

For example, a hypothetical accepted price of $100,000 under a buyer-side mandate has a seller commission of $0 payable to us. The agreed watch payment is $100,000; taxes or other cross-border costs, if applicable, are stated separately. This is a fee illustration dated 27 September 2026, not an offer or an achieved result.

The 5% funded-buyer fee published on our selling pages applies only when we are appointed by the seller. It does not apply to an agreed buyer-side acquisition mandate. A private placement for an unmatched watch is also a separate seller mandate, with progressive fees disclosed before outreach.

Written terms first

Before a watch moves

The accepted written terms identify the buyer, price, inspection location, insured custody, return rule, currency and payment trigger. Collection for inspection and final release to the buyer are separate events. Do not treat an informal address or a payment screenshot as authority to complete a handover.

If inspection reveals a material difference from the description, the finding and any proposed change are discussed before completion. The agreement determines whether the parties proceed or the watch is returned. Retain the offer, condition images, inspection and settlement record.

What evidence supports an F.P. Journe valuation?

We use three to five relevant closed-sale comparables when that evidence exists. Each identifies the date, source, reference or generation, and known condition and completeness, with any adjustment. If fewer than three credible comparables exist, the report says so. Asking prices do not replace completed sales.

Will you consider another collector-watch reference?

Yes. Other references can receive a free sale estimate and a review of available routes. They are not described as funded mandates simply because we review the brand.
