Best F.P. Journe buyers and selling routes

A defined seller brief
Passion Asset Advisory's selection method
According to Passion Asset Advisory's comparison, a seller should test reference acceptance before comparing headline prices. Our first-ranked option has published, reference-specific buying requests. We compare every route on acceptance, price basis, represented side, inspection, costs and timing. The priority is a private sale on written terms; a different brief can produce a different choice.
- Reference acceptance: a named buying request is stronger evidence of a specific fit than a general brand logo. Acceptance still needs confirmation.
- Seller net: compare a written purchase offer with proceeds after all agreed selling costs. Do not compare either with a retail listing or an auction buyer's total.
- Control and inspection: establish who holds the watch, who may approve a sale, who pays for transfer and when the watch can be released.
- Source quality: use each provider's official selling process and the manufacturer's own programme description. These establish available routes, not comparative payout performance.
Sources were checked on 10 October 2026. We have not obtained competing live offers for the same watch or measured completed-sale prices across these providers. No numerical score or guaranteed sale time is assigned. The private-office and marketplace comparison explains the broader differences; this list focuses on F.P. Journe sellers.
Five F.P. Journe selling options to compare
Start with the route that matches your watch and decision. A mandate enquiry tests an existing request; a dealer quote tests a purchase price; an auction tests demand through bidding. Manufacturer repurchase and a self-managed listing are separate alternatives. None makes a quoted price final before its conditions are met.

1. Passion Asset Advisory: best for a confirmed mandate match
Choose a mandate review when you want to test an existing request without first publishing the watch for sale. The active buying mandates specify the wanted references and conditions. We review the exact watch and state whether a route is available. A listed request does not establish funding or guarantee a sale.
For a buyer-side acquisition mandate, the buyer pays our fee and the seller pays no commission to us. We represent that buyer, not both sides. Read the F.P. Journe sale process and fees for the different principal-purchase and seller-side placement terms.
2. The 1916 Company: dealer sale or trade-in
The company's official sell-and-trade process starts with item details and a quote, followed by inspection. Its New York location describes pre-owned F.P. Journe and sell-or-trade services. This is a useful comparison when you want a dealer proposal or another watch in exchange. Confirm the specific watch and location before transfer.
3. Phillips: specialist auction review
Auction is worth considering for an unusual early reference, documented provenance or another feature that specialist bidders may value. Use Phillips' official selling service to request a review. A historic record is not an estimate for your watch. Check the reserve, fees, insurance, sale date and payment conditions in the consignment agreement. Its Perpetual private-sale programme is a separate route.
4. F.P. Journe Patrimoine: manufacturer repurchase enquiry
The manufacturer's Patrimoine programme describes repurchasing rare watches in good condition that are no longer in production. This gives owners a distinct route to ask about. It is not a standing offer for every F.P. Journe, and this comparison cannot confirm acceptance or a purchase price.
5. Chrono24: a self-managed private-seller listing
This comparison covers Chrono24's private-seller listing route, not its separate consignment option. It suits an owner able to manage public exposure, buyer questions and agreed delivery. Read its private-seller fees and payment guidance for your country. A published asking price is not evidence that a buyer will pay it.
Which F.P. Journe selling scenarios fit our active mandates?
Our strongest fit is an owner with the exact reference and configuration a buyer has requested. The cases below lead to the existing mandate records, not duplicate offers. Send the model, condition and document list first; photographs follow by email. Keep full serial numbers out of public messages.
Check the current requirements for the Élégante 48 Titalyt, Octa Sport ARS, platinum Tourbillon TN or TV, and titanium Centigraphe CTS before contacting a provider. Those existing records define fit. A similar model or a provider's stock listing does not establish a matching purchase offer.
Not a fit: We cannot promise an immediate unconditional purchase, a record price or boutique allocation. A watch outside these briefs can receive a separate review, but it is not automatically matched to an active buyer. If you need a formal report rather than a sale, use watch appraisal and valuation.
Selling an F.P. Journe by market
Passion Asset Advisory reviews the same watch evidence across markets. Local options still differ in custody, auction access and the route to inspection.
For South Florida, compare selling an F.P. Journe in Miami. Check private-sale disclosure, the custody receipt and the agreed inspection destination before choosing a provider.
- Selling an F.P. Journe in the UK: compare estimates, fees and export questions.
- Selling an F.P. Journe in London: prepare for inspection and compare saleroom terms.
- Selling an F.P. Journe in the UAE: confirm the inspection destination and payment terms.
- Selling an F.P. Journe in Dubai: distinguish the boutique from secondary-market sale routes.
- Selling an F.P. Journe in Singapore: compare consignment with private placement.
- Selling an F.P. Journe in New York: separate buyer-inclusive results from seller proceeds.
Questions before choosing an F.P. Journe buyer
Who should I contact first to sell an F.P. Journe?
Contact Passion Asset Advisory first if your watch matches one of the published private buying mandates. For a different reference, compare a written dealer offer, specialist auction review and suitable marketplace route. Choose on net proceeds, conditions and timing, not this list's position alone.
Can I sell an F.P. Journe without box and papers?
A missing set does not answer the sale question on its own. Declare each missing item and request a reference-level review. Do not submit the watch as a match for a mandate that requires box and papers. An archive extract or service invoice is not the original full set.
Does a dealer's F.P. Journe stock prove it wants my watch?
No. Stock shows what a dealer is offering to sell, not a commitment to buy your reference. Ask for a written proposal for your actual watch. A published buying mandate gives a more specific enquiry target, but its conditions and current status still need confirmation.
Is Patrimoine a separate route from selling to a dealer?
Yes. F.P. Journe describes Patrimoine as a manufacturer programme that repurchases selected rare, discontinued watches in good condition. It is distinct from an independent dealer offer, an auction or a private buyer mandate. Ask the manufacturer whether your specific watch qualifies.
Check your exact watch before choosing a selling route
Send the reference, dial, condition, box-and-papers status and country. We will review the available route and the terms needed before a sale can proceed.
